Opened my new Thoughtful Branches Thinlits pack tonight and removed the dies from the icky-sticky holding them onto the package card to find some of that lovely icky-sticky was still stuck to parts of the back of the thinlits.  Out comes my trusty rubber (‘eraser’ for our American friends).

When you rub the sticky parts with the rubber they disappear – much less faff than using baby wipes or other ‘wet’ stuff that then needs to be cleaned off itself.    BTW this is a good time of year to stock up on rubbers because of the new school year (should this be another TIP ALERT?)

Job done!

This is the first post EVER in my blog!   Today I made a birthday card and used one of the products from the new Autumn-Winter Catalogue – the Copper Foil card.  Ooh, it’s so bright and shiny and I love it already!  I did add in some bronze glitter card that I had in my stash from pre-Stampin’ Up! (as we all love a bit of glitter don’t we) because SU hasn’t produced the Glimmer Paper in bronze ……………… so far.

I used the Swirly Scribbles Thinlit Dies from the Swirly Bird Stamp Set & Swirly Scribbles Thinlit Dies Bundle as well as THREE stamp sets – Gorgeous Grunge, Perpetual Birthday Calendar and Vertical Greetings.
